About the event
This conference celebrates the outcomes of the Our Languages project, a 2 year DCSF-funded project from a consortium of CILT, the National Centre for Languages, the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education, the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust and the School Development Support Agency. All delegates will receive a free Our Languages toolkit on forging successful partnerships between mainstream and complementary schools and free CDS offering lesson plans, schemes of work and resources across a range of languages.

• Teachers of community languages in supplementary /complementary schools
• Managers in both mainstream and complementary schools
• Local authority Languages and Ethnic Minority Achievement teams

Exhibition
A free exhibition runs alongside the conference, giving delegates the opportunity to browse the latest resources for teaching, promoting and supporting community languages.
The 2009 conference hosts the official launch of the Curriculum Guides in Cantonese, Gujarati, Somali and Yoruba from CILT, the National Centre for Languages and Goldsmiths, University of London. For a list of exhibitors please click here.

Fee

Please note: Allocated places with an extra subsidy for complementary schools have now all been taken up. Places are still available at the subsidised fee of £75.
